Santa is being waaaay too generous.  What a gift!  Knowing that another season of good laughs are right around the corner- just makes me feel all warm, and well, like I have a Snuggie on!

To be honest, I’d like to know what’s going on with ”the most fabulous circle in Miami” (Watch the trailer, you’ll get it).

I saw Gonzalo, Sorah’s bf, having dinner at Quattro on Lincoln Road a few weeks ago.  I know that George French has moved out of the apartment at the Grand Venetian and now lives at Canyon Ranch.  Detoxing, maybe?  Anyhoo–Michael’s on Facebook.  And for being as ”fabulous” as he is, no one sees the uber-weathly, and charming, Ariel.  Gotta love that Ariel “get the fat bitch out of my seat” Stein.

The success of the show has apparently trickled down to the hotel where the show was primarily shot: Gansevoort South Beach. Gansevoort South Beach is scheduled for a foreclosure auction next month.

These are reasons you SHOULDN’T drink and Facebook.  Confirmed by Bravo! that the show will not be headed for a second season.  Seems like the Gansevoort and “Miami Social” are headed for the discount bin at the Dollar Store.

This blog is the #1 Miami, Miami Beach, and South Beach real estate blog – and I’m pretty proud of that. With that comes added pressure. I’m grateful for the success of this blog, but I know that maintaining this blog and running my business is too much for one person. (Even if that one person is me.)

South Beach Condo Blog Is Hiring

Yup. I’m looking for an exceptional (read: EXCEPTIONAL) intern to work for me.

Ideally, I’m looking for a college-age person who has a very strong interest in real estate, journalism, and new media. I never went to journalism school, but I’m looking for someone who is a FREAK (read: Jeff Lewis) when it comes to details. The ideal candidate should posses strong grammar and writing skills, exceptional stats/graphs/charting skills, (read: excel–or other nifty charting software) and also have an interest in social media.  I’m not perfect when it comes to that kinda stuff, but I expect the perfect candidate to be.  Ha!

Access to Information

Without the access to good info, your potential position would suck.  I have access.  I know everyone coming and going in this city.  I know “things” before “things” happen; and access to that type of info is CRITICAL.  I’ve even scooped the  traditional media on a few doosies.

About Me

I’m cranky.  I’m moody.  I’m a perfectionist.  I’m not “into” excuses and have zero tolerance for being ill-prepared (read: R.E.A.D). I use a Blackberry. iPhones are for sissies. But, I will give special dispensation to the perfect candidate if he/she has a iPhone (read: glorified Game Boy).

New Expose Ends Party in Miami. Literally.

Set to hit bookstores next week, Gerald Posner’s new tell-all on Miami, Miami Babylon, is creating quite the buzz here with the “old guard.”  After reading advance copies of the book, it seems that the wealthy and powerful have decided to take a pass on the parties for the well-respected author and his new book.  

This has got to be a home-run, best seller.  Nonfiction; but some of the subjects may claim it as fiction.

I was driving through Miami Beach this week when my friend @bethbutler said “oh my god, Courteney Cox is a real estate agent!”  I was like “whatever.  It’s probably dufus some real estate agent trying to look like her…blah blah.”  Beth yells “stop your Bentley convertible and back up.”

Beth popped off this shot (Notice the two other signs in front of the house—could the owner be  ANYMORE desperate?).

I decided to clean out my email and came across this pic that Beth emailed to me from her phone.  I go to the Web site and it’s ABC!

Then I began to think:  “ABC is trying a viral promotion for Cougar Town.”

The “Cougar Town” sign is really bad–but the other two signs of desperation in the background really gave me a chuckle.

I know a few “cougars” in my office just a few streets north of this sign.
