Did you know that my name ARDELL came from “Our Dell”? When you said My ARELL it cracked me up. It’s like saying My Our Dell
Italians are often called Dell. Everyone in my neighborhood was Dell. Hey Dell! (DellaVecchia) Hey Dell! (DellaGuardia) Hey Dell (DellaLoggia)
My Aunt Adele was called Dell, but there were SO many Dells that everyone would say which Dell? And my grandmother would answer OUR Dell. So my Aunt Adele was always called OURDell by her family, and when I was named after her, it came out ARDELL.
My sister Nikki is MyNikki and I am OurDell…go figure. Someday I’ll tell you the story of my sister “Mindy” whose real name is Roxanne LOL! I could write a whole blog on my family and never run out of stories.
