I feel the same way you did about the tax proposals and I voted against the ballot initiative.

Until the schools are thrown into the ring, the rest of the property tax puzzle is mainly nickels and dimes. Schools need to step up as well with their share of the cuts. After all, they were built up due to the explosive growth – now they need to cut back and share the pain along with everyone else.
